My Review of Prometheus

What can I say about Prometheus with out giving away any spoilers? Well after seeing it last night I can say it is, in my opinion, the most visually impressive movie Ridley Scott has made yet. It is worth watching in 3D. Personally I really liked the first 2/3’s of the film but did not care for the last part. The story just seemed to fall apart.

The Elizabeth Shaw character played by Noomi Rapace from “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is obviously our Ripley type personality this time around. David, played by Michael Fassbender of “X-Men: First Class,” who is referred to as a robot from the beginning seems to be part Bishop part Ash, but you feel for him and that’s always a good quality it a character. Meredith played by Charlize Theron is the only other person of interest which is why, when other characters start getting involved in the last 3rd of the movie, the story starts to lose some of its consistency.

At the end I walked away asking “why?” But “why” is the underling question to this movie so maybe that is what were are meant to ask.

I would give Prometheus 3 1/2 out of 5 stars but if you are a Ridley Scott fan you will not want to miss the images in this film. Besides there is a good lessen to be learned from this movie. If you are going to land on an alien planet, bring a gun.

I will always take time to post a Disney Haunted Mansion story. Here is some lost video of he famed Hat Box Ghost that went missing from the Disney ride in 1969 only a few days after the mansion opened.

Thanks to Paranormal Network for pointing it out http://www.ghostvideos.ws/
